Below you will find information to help you use the Picasse iOS App(s).

Before you start…

  • Make sure you are registered as a contact in Picasse.io with the correct mobile phone number.
  • Make sure you can download apps from the App Store.
  • Make sure wifi is on or mobile internet is on.
  • Make sure your phone is updated to the latest version of iOS.

Installing the Picasse app

1. Open the App Store on your phone

  • Open the App Store.

2. Search for the Picasse app

  • Tap the search field.
  • Enter Picasse NXT.

3. Download and open the Picasse app

  • Press the button download.
  • Press open when the app is downloaded.

4. Allow access to the microphone

A message is displayed requesting access to the microphone. This is necessary for push to talk conversations.

  • Press OK.

5. Give permission to show messages

A message will be displayed asking for permission to show messages. This permission is required to receive calls.

  • Press Allow.

6. Give permission to send critical notifications

A notification will be displayed asking for permission to send critical alerts. This way you can always be called up in a critical situation.

  • Press Allow.

7. Enter your phone number

If you have accepted all notifications, you will see the registration screen.

  • Enter your phone number and press verify. 

Note: use +31 without 0

The international code does not contain a 0 between the country code and the phone number.

For example 0612345678 becomes (+31) 612345678.


8. Enter the code received

Within seconds you will receive an SMS containing a 6 digit code.

  • Press enter the code from the SMS and press Verify.

The authorization SMS is valid for 20 minutes!


9. Set the location amenities

A window will appear to set up the location service. The Picasse app gives a warning to always set the location determination.

  • Press settings.
  • Scroll down and tap the Picasse App.
  • Press location.

 

Note: If you clicked on “do not allow”, please follow these steps:

Go to settings.
Ga naar apps.
Druk op Picasse Receiver.
Druk op Locatie.
Stel in op Altijd


10. Allow location access

  • Set it to always.

11. Make sure you always have the latest version of the Picasse app

  • Open the settings on your iPhone.
  • Scroll down in settings and then go to App Store.
  • Turn on App-updates.

Note: Make sure that clean up apps is not turned on.

After the app has been installed, we recommend that you place it in the shortcut bar at the bottom.

Resolving problems

My presence is incorrect

It may be that you are still present at work, but that you are in reality already at home. To solve this we have a number of steps.

To get a correct attendance, follow the steps below:

1. Update your locations manually

  • Go to the Picasse app.
  • Press the 3 dots at the top right of the screen.

2. Go to Settings

  • Go to settings.

 


3. Update the locations

  • Press Update Locations.
  • Turn on the sliders of the locations where you are present.
  • Press “confirm

4. Set the privacy settings correctly

  • Go to settings.
  • Go to privacy.

5. Check if location services is on

  • Press location facilities and check if it is on.

6. Check if the location facilities are set correctly

  • Press Picasse receiver.
  • Check if it is set to always.

7. Make sure you have the latest iOS update

  • Check if you have the latest iOS and Picasse App updates.
  • Go to settings.
  • Press general.
  • Press software update.
  • Update the app if you can.

8. Make sure you have internet

  • Check if your WiFi and mobile data are turned on.
  • Go to settings.
  • Press mobile network.
  • Check if the slider is on.

9. Make sure power saving mode is turned off

  • Check if the power saving mode is OFF.
  • Go to settings.
  • Scroll down and press battery.
  • Check if the slider is turned off.

 

 


10. Reset privacy and location settings

A location bug has been detected in iOS 15, following these steps may fix your location issues.

  • Open settings.
  • Press general, then press transfer or reset iPhone.
  • Press Reset.
  • Tap Restore Location & Privacy to enter the unlock code.
  • Restart the iPhone.

 

 


I don't hear any sound when calls come in

 

1. Make sure critical notifications are on

To receive notifications even when your phone is in meeting mode, you must allow critical notifications.

  • Go to settings, scroll to the Picasse App and open it.
  • Tap Notifications and check if Critical Notifications are allowed.

2. Your Apple watch is paired and records all notifications

  • Go to your Apple watch settings.
  • Go to the messages from picasse.
  • Make sure it is turned off.

 

I'm not getting an SMS code verification code

 

1. Why am I not receiving an SMS code?

  • Check if you are listed as a contact in Picasse.

 

 


2. Register with the same phone number as in Picasse.io

It is important that you have entered the correct phone number that matches your contact details in Picasse.

  • Make sure you register with the correct phone number that is also listed as a contact in Picasse.

3. Make sure airplane mode is off

The Picasse app requires an internet connection. If airplane mode is turned on, the Internet connection will be lost.

  • Go to settings.
  • At the top, make sure airplane mode is off.

4. Make sure you are connected to a WiFi network

It is necessary for the app to be connected to a network for calls to come in.

  • Open settings.
  • Press Wi-Fi.
  • Turn on the slider.

5. Check if you are receiving text messages from others

  • Have someone else send you a text message.

 


6. Make sure App updates is on

  • Open the settings on your iPhone.
  • Scroll down in settings and then go to App Store.
  • Turn on the App-updates.
